Pizza with a Purpose
No, we're not a pizzeria.
We're an IT company. But, we're
family-owned and that's
where pizza comes in.
When we were young, in order to give our mother (Carol
Pelicano) a break from cooking dinner two nights a week,
our father, Ted Pelicano, invented
Pelicano Pizza. Every Tuesday and Saturday, he would make pizza and use
the opportunity to form his eight children. Gently, subtly
he imprinted upon his kids what it meant
to be a Pelicano: integrity, generosity, faith,
family, joy, lifting others' burdens, and maybe even an
appreciation for West Coast Jazz.
He established a tradition that each of his chilldren and
countless of his 50+ grandchildren and great-grandchildren
have carried into their own families. Every time we live
this tradition of faith, family, and attention to others,
Dad is right there with us.
Family is why we formed this company.
Mutual faith is why it flourishes.
Attention to others' needs is how we strive to
live, according to the loving example of our parents. We
